Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton — WWE Championship

Kingston’s title defenses have featured opponents that haven’t quite posed a real threat to the seemingly unstoppable champion. That was the case until Orton stepped into the fray, reigniting the feud that stomped out Kingston’s chances of being a top contender years ago. Though the “stupid, stupid, stupid” references have been played out, a win over the 13-time world champion for Kingston would be the champ’s biggest win as the titleholder to date. However, it’s just as likely that this feud will continue until the following pay-per-view, Hell in a Cell.

WINNER: Kofi Kingston

Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman — WWE Universal Championship

Likely the main event of the evening, Rollins versus Strowman will likely be the best match of the night. Having just recently regained the championship at SummerSlam, Rollins managed to win back many of the fans he’d lost after a monotonous feud involving Baron Corbin. Rollins has the capacity to hold the title for months and months. However, the Monster Among Men has been a fan favorite for years but hasn’t gotten a run at the top with a world title. The two wrestlers’ styles should mesh well for a back-and-forth matchup. Despite many wanting a home-state win for Strowman, Rollins should leave Charlotte in an identical place he’d entered: the Universal and Raw Tag Team Champion.

WINNER: Seth Rollins
