Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman vs. Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler — Raw Tag Team Championships

After winning a tag team turmoil match to determine the No. 1 contender for the Raw Tag Team Championship, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler finally found something that made them appear to be relevant on the WWE roster.

The truth of the matter is that Roode had been doing virtually nothing, and Ziggler just finished losing his WWE Championship opportunity and recovering from getting pulverized by Goldberg. It’s a miracle these two are doing anything at this point, but these two aren’t the story of this match.

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, the No. 1 contender for the Universal Title, managed to team up to take on the O.C., Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, for their tag belts. Surprisingly yet unsurprisingly, Rollins and Strowman won. With Roode and Ziggler waiting and the two tag champs set to square off for the Universal Championship, the real story revolves around whether Rollins and Strowman can co-exist long enough to retain. They will.

WINNERS: Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman

The New Day vs. The Revival — Smackdown Tag Team Championships

In another Tag Team Championship story revolving around the world title picture, the New Day has been at the mercy of Randy Orton and his two new partners in crime, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. With Kofi Kingston set to defend his WWE Championship against Orton, Xavier Woods and Big E put their Smackdown Tag Team Championships on the line against the Revival.

This match will likely be one of the best tag team championship contests WWE has had in a long time. The New Day have proven themselves as one of the most elite teams in company history. On the other side, the Revival are proven workers in the ring, and if anyone can match up to the rivalries of old, it would be the Revival. However, this is definitely a spoiler for a later prediction, but the New Day should retain all the hardware at the end of Sunday.

WINNERS: The New Day

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville — Women’s Tag Team Championships

One, if not both, of these teams is going to split apart at some point down the line. This title match could feasibly see the breaking point with a loss.

After winning the belts from the IIconics on Raw, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have been fan favorites in the women’s tag division after coming together seemingly out of nowhere. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, on the other hand, have been allied together since making their main-roster debut when Paige formed the group Absolution. As combustive as these teams appear, Rose and Deville’s partnership has appeared to be rockier as a split has been teased a few times in the past. While God’s Greatest Creation and the Jersey Devil can shed their alliance at any moment, the story between the Goddess and the Twisted Sister should have more time to develop, and if any teams are likely to dethrone them, it would either be the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) or Boss ‘n’ Hug.
