Old North Banter: WWE Clash of Champions Comes to Charlotte

In World Wrestling Entertainment’s first pay-per-view following 2019 SummerSlam, the Queen City hosts Clash of Champions at the Spectrum Center

For the first time since 2012, WWE will host a pay-per-view event in North Carolina. This Sunday, Charlotte will host Clash of Champions in the Spectrum Center, and all of WWE’s main-roster championships will be on the line.

With the card announced, here are Old North Banter‘s official predictions for Clash of Champions 2019.

Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan — No Disqualification Match

The only non-title match announced for the show pits Roman Reigns against Erick Rowan. With the no-DQ stipulation added, there will likely be some shenanigans involving Daniel Bryan. However, the Big Dog should reign (pun intended) over his yard despite any altercations with the Planet’s Champion.
