Los Angeles Lakers

Another team Walker has been linked to is the Los Angeles Lakers. The recent addition of Anthony Davis to pair with superstar LeBron James and young talent Kyle Kuzma makes Los Angeles a prime spot, especially for point guards such as Walker, Kyrie Irving and DeAngelo Russell. Add in the fact that Davis just waived his trade kicker and the Lakers suddenly have the cap space to sign a high-level free agent to a max contract.

This bodes well for the three guards listed above, as they get the chance to play with two superstars to potentially contend in the Western Conference while still getting a max contract. Talent-wise, this might be the best situation of the five teams featured in this story if they can put it together, of course. Drama surrounded this team all last season, which puts a damper on how good of a spot this would actually be. Still, the idea of pairing Walker with James, Davis and even Kuzma is one that is exciting to think about.
