New York Knicks

This is easily the least likely landing spot for Walker, but the Knicks have been linked to pretty much everyone and their mother, namely Kevin Durant and The Real MVP, so it’s one worth mentioning. Growing up, the Knicks were also Walker’s hometown team, so there is sentimental value in Walker heading to New York.

However, outside of location and money, the Knicks’ supporting cast is arguably even worse than the one Walker has endured with the Hornets over the past few years. For the past year, I’ve thoroughly believed that if Walker left, it would be to a team that actually has a relative shot of contending for a title, or heck, even a playoff spot. With Dennis Smith Jr. and third overall draft pick R.J. Barrett likely being the best players on the team right now, the Knicks simply don’t fit that bill.
