Germaine Pratt comes up big in crunch time

There is no question that this defense for the NC State football team has been led by Germaine Pratt, who has been one of the most consistent performers this defense has had. He once again led this defense in tackles with 13 total tackles, which is his third game this year with double digit tackles, and a sack.

However, Pratt made some key plays in the fourth quarter that could have been the deciding factor in the outcome of the game. The score at the time was 28-16 and Boston College was driving and had gotten inside the five yard line. The Eagles had called a run play for Ben Glines, which not only was stopped by Pratt, but he also was able to force a fumble which he recovered.

The play of Pratt over these first five games has been a real bright spot for this defense and he has been one of the key reasons this NC State football team remains undefeated.
