These are the top takeaways from the win over Boston College on Saturday by the NC State football team.

The game was much closer than it should have been due to key mistakes by the NC State football team but they were able to remain undefeated with a 28-23 victory over Boston College. The Wolfpack dominated in a number of statistical categories from total yards to time of possession.

However they struggled to protect the ball with four turnovers, and a miscue on special teams cut the lead to five in the fourth quarter. This was after the Wolfpack had a 28-3 lead late in the third quarter but the Eagles fought back with 20 unanswered points.

The good news, aside from the Wolfpack able to win while making a few key mistakes, is that the offense looks to have finally found some balance. This group had the most rushing yards of the season and a run game opposing defenses must account for will help Ryan Finley as the NC State football team moves further into ACC play.

These are the top takeaways for the NC State football team in their 28-23 victory over Boston College.
