Greg Dortch

There is no question that the best weapon this Wake Forest football team has is Greg Dortch. The speedy wide receiver can beat teams in a number of ways, whether it is when they are on offense or as a return man.

The sophomore is coming off a four touchdown game, the second of his career, and has now led this offense in receiving in each of the past four games. On the year, Dortch is averaging nine receptions for 111 yards.

While he will certainly need to be an impact on offense, he could have just as much impact on the game as the team’s primary returner. If the Demon Deacons want to put up point, a short field will go a long way in helping this offense. This year he already has two punt returns for touchdowns and is averaging 23.2 yards per kick return and 16.7 yards per punt return.

If the Demon Deacons want to steal a win over Clemson, Greg Dortch will likely be a big part of that victory.
