Sam Hartman

This is the biggest game in the early collegiate career for true freshman Sam Hartman and the spotlight will be bright on the team’s starting quarterback.

Hartman has played pretty well to this point in the season and has averaged 237 passing yards per game with 11 total touchdowns and five interceptions. However, this game the focus for Hartman must be to protect the football.

The earlier games this season, turnovers were certainly an issue with the five interceptions, as well as one fumble, through the first three games. However, he has now had two consecutive games without a turnover which is something this team needs.

If Hartman can limit the mistakes, and get the ball to this next player, they should be able to put up some points.
