These are the key players for the Wake Forest football team who will be looking for an upset over fourth ranked Clemson.

The Wake Forest football team was able to end a two-game losing streak with a 56-24 victory over Rice. The Demon Deacons opponent this weekend will be a much bigger challenge than Rice as they will face the Clemson Tigers at home on Saturday.

This team will be looking to keep the game much closer than they did last year, a game that the Tigers built a 28 point lead before two touchdowns late in the fourth cut the lead in half to 28-14.

This is a different team than last year and could be catching the Tigers at just the right time. While they are expected to have their starting quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, back for this game. He left last week’s game with a concussion, in a game against the Syracuse Orange that they certainly looked beatable.

Earlier this week, we discussed a potential gameplan for the Demon Deacons to pull off a possible upset. These are the key players that will need to have big games for the Wake Forest football team on Saturday against Clemson.
