Larrell Murchison

Larrell Murchison is coming off a career game against Virginia with three sacks and four tackles for a loss. He was named to Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week for his performance as one of the best interior defensive lineman.

While it is unreasonable to expect for a player to have three sacks every game, the one thing the Wolfpack will need is for Murchison to continue to show the burst he did and penetrate the backfield. The easiest way to stop an opposing offense’s rushing attack is by not letting it get going.

If Dillon is forced to miss this game, the pressure could be on quarterback Anthony Brown to move this offense through the air. If he is forced to throw more, this presents Murchison with a great chance to add to his season sack total.

The ability to control the middle of the line with a player like Larrell Murchison will be a huge boost for this defense as it will really limit what the Boston College Eagles are able to do.
