NC State Football: Key players to watch against Boston College

Germaine Pratt

If AJ Dillon is able to play Saturday against the Wolfpack, linebacker Germaine Pratt will be crucial to their success against the star running back. The redshirt senior linebacker is the leader of this defense and his ability to win at the point of attack will be key to slowing down Dillon.

Pratt has put up impressive tackle totals this year with 36 total tackles and has either led or been tied for the lead in tackles in each of the team’s first four games.

The Wolfpack defense had big questions entering this season and it was unknown if they could duplicate the success from last year with losing their entire defensive line. However, Pratt has stepped into that leadership role and is leading by example. This is the game though they will need a big performance from him slowing down this Eagles’ rushing attack.
