Tight End

If there is a weakness for this Giants’ defense it is their inability to cover tight ends. The Giants in two games this year, against the Texans and the Saints, they have given up 97 and 86 receiving yards respectively.

It remains to be seen if Greg Olsen will be available Sunday, and it would likely be wishful thinking for him to be recovered from his foot injury. If he is not able to go Ian Thomas could be a sneaky play. The tight end position has been hit hard with injuries this year and Thomas is a player likely still on the waiver wire.

While Olsen is unlikely to play this week, this may be the time to pick him up if he is available on the waiver wire. The former Pro Bowl tight end is expected back within the next few weeks and if there is room on your team’s bench, this would be the perfect time to stash him until he is fully healthy.
