Wide Receiver

The strength of this Giants defense clearly lies in their secondary and they are coming off a week where they held Drew Brees and this Saints’ offense to only 217 passing yards with no touchdowns.

This is a game the Panthers’ wide receivers could struggle in and Devin Funchess is the only player that makes any sense to start. He has now had two straight games with over 65 receiving yards and at least seven targets in each. Funchess is clearly the team’s top receiving option and is a receiver who should see a high volume of targets.

However, one player worth watching is rookie DJ Moore who had a great play against the Atlanta Falcons but was not involved in the Panthers game plan.

He is a player that will likely be involved more as the season progresses and could vault himself past Funchess as the team’s top receiving target.
