Isaiah Moore makes an impact on defense

The Wolfpack defense got Isaiah Moore back for this game against Virginia after he missed the previous two games due to injury. It didn’t take long for fans to notice his presence on the field as he always seemed to be around the ball.

There was one play in the second half that stood out in particular that Moore won’t get credit on the stat sheet but he had a major impact. On the second play of the second half for the Cavaliers, Moore showed his speed on a delay blitz that forced Perkins to roll to his right and right into a sack by James Smith-Williams. This moved the Cavaliers back to 3rd and 17 and the drive ended with a three and out.

While Louis Acceus has played well in place of Moore the past two games, this defense has a different look when Moore is on the field. Isaiah Moore will be a key part of this defense next week when they will try to stop Boston College’s star running back AJ Dillon.
