Emeka Emezie has another strong game

One week after taking a few brutal hits against Marshall, Emeka Emezie had another strong performance in this Wolfpack offense. He finished the game tied for the team lead in receptions with five, along with 90 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

The touchdown was a great play by Emezie, and showed why he is becoming a favorite target of Ryan Finley. The 6’3″ sophomore went back hard to the ball, beating the defender to the point of attack and securing the catch.

Entering this season, the Wolfpack were expected to have a deep wide receiver group with Kelvin Harmon, Jakobi Meyers and Stephen Louis. However, injuries at the position has given Emezie an opportunity to see increased snaps and he has taken full advantage. He should remain a key weapon in this offense the remainder of the season.
