Quentin Harris

While this is a big game, and the Blue Devils probably would love to have Daniel Jones back under center, there is no reason to risk a possible re-injury for Jones and lose him for even longer. This is due in large part to how well Quentin Harris has played the past few weeks.

In what has been Harris’ first chance at extended playing time he has helped the Blue Devils to a road win over Baylor and a win last week against North Carolina Central. On the season, Harris has thrown for 388 passing yards with six touchdowns as well as 141 rushing yards with one score on the ground.

The Hokies have always been known for having a stout defense and it is hard to imagine they will be giving up another 49 point game like they did against Old Dominion. This will be a big test for Harris but if he can lean on this next player, he should be able to keep this offense moving and put up enough points for a win.
