Cole Holcomb

The Hurricanes have their own impressive group of running backs however they are not the same type of runner that Antonio Williams. The duo of Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas are explosive running backs that with a little bit of room can turn an ordinary run into a big play.

These two backs have combined for 500 rushing yards and are averaging 5.8 yards per carry.

This is where linebacker Cole Holcomb will need to come into play and have a big performance for this defense. In Saturday’s game against Pitt, Holcomb led this team in tackles with 12 total tackles, as well as a sack and pass defended.

This will be a tall task for the Tar Heels’ linebacker and this defense will need another performance similar to the one he had against Pitt.
