Wolfpack need more efficiency from the run game

It would be hard to say that the NC State football team is not committed to get this running game going. In the game against Marshall they had 36 carries, including 22 by Reggie Gallaspy II.

While Gallaspy did finish with 81 yards and two touchdowns, both season highs, it has to be concerning that it took 22 carries to get there. The team’s top two backs, Gallaspy and Trent Pennix, were only able to average 3.7 yards per carry in their game against the Fighting Herd.

While the Wolfpack do have one of the best quarterbacks in the country with Finley, if they want to be a threat in the ACC, they must get this run game going. While Finley can win some games with his arm, it is hard to imagine that it will be a consistent winning formula.
