Wide Receiver/Tight End

As mentioned previously, the wide receiver position will likely be maddening for fantasy owners because this offense has so many weapons. The top of the depth chart has been dominated by Devin Funchess, Torrey Smith and Jarius Wright.

Last week, we wrote about now being a good time to buy low on Funchess and he produced with seven receptions for 77 receiving yards. That window is still open but may be closing quickly if Funchess has another good game against the Bengals.

Another player worth snagging and possibly storing on your bench is first-round pick DJ Moore. The rookie had a 51-yard touchdown against the Falcons and his role in this offense could be increasing in the coming weeks.

Next. Panthers should move Curtis Samuel to RB. dark

At the tight end position, Ian Thomas is still the player fantasy owners want and against the Falcons had two receptions for 10 yards on three targets. However, the one target he didn’t catch was in the end zone as it bounced off his hands. It will be worth watching the next few weeks if Thomas’ role is able to expand.
