The Duke Blue Devils will look to remain undefeated when they take the field against NC Central. These are the key players to watch in Saturday’s game.

Last week was the biggest win in the early part of the 2018 season for the Duke Blue Devils. They were entering a road game against a Power 5 opponent without their starting quarterback (Daniel Jones) and their star cornerback (Mark Gilbert).

This didn’t slow them down in the slightest as they were able to put up 40 points and controlled the game pretty much from start to finish, winning by a final score of 40-27 over the Baylor Bears.

This week, the Blue Devils will be facing North Carolina Central that could potentially be a trap game. This Blue Devils’ team has more talent on paper but with a matchup against #13 Virginia Tech on the horizon, they may not be focused on the task at hand.

The hope would be that the Blue Devils will be able to build a lead early on that will allow David Cutcliffe and his staff to rest of their starters ahead of next week’s home game.
