DJ Moore needs more targets

While it certainly will be heartbreaking for the rookie to know he had a chance to tie the game up on the final play of the game as the ball went through his hands, the Panthers would not have been in that position if it wasn’t for his play the drive before.

The first round draft pick had only one other target in the game and it came on that second to last drive when he caught a pass from Cam Newton across the middle of the field, broke a tackle and ended up going 51 yards for a touchdown.

This offense has plenty of receiving weapons for Newton from Devin Funchess, Torrey Smith, and Jarius Wright, who is showing he has the capabilities of being a decent option out of the slot. However, Moore is just too talented to keep on the sidelines and have only two targets a game.
