Justin Strnad

If the Demon Deacons’ defensive tackles keep offensive linemen from getting down field for blocks, it will be up to these linebackers, specifically Justin Strnad to shut down Dillon before he really can get going.

Strnad is coming off an impressive season with 51 total tackles, including 8.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, 3 interceptions and two forced fumbles. The ability to force turnovers could prove to be especially key for this game against Boston College.

While Wake Forest did move the game up from an 8 PM start to 5:30, there could be some impact from Hurricane Florence. If it is wind or even rain, this has the potential to be a turnover nightmare for both sides.

It would not be surprising to see Strnad finish the game with a turnover or two.
