Antonio Williams

Speaking of offensive playmakers this is a game that Antonio Williams needs to show he can be the team’s featured back and carry this run game. The transfer from Ohio State entered this season with high expectations but struggled against Cal with 47 rushing yards and averaged only 2.8 yards per carry.

While the pressure is clearly on Elliott and the quarterback position, a strong performance by Williams could be a big boost for him. The run game will keep the opposing defense honest and help open up some possible throwing lanes.

This is a game that Williams should assert his dominance and run with power to dictate the flow of the game. If Williams does struggle, this offense once again could have a tough day.
