Reggie Gallaspy Jr.

The senior running back was one of the key players last week and after a lackluster performance, he once again is a player fans should keep a close eye on. He finished the game against JMU with 68 rushing yards however 19 of those yards came on the team’s final drive.

The Wolfpack have had 1,000 yard rushers each of the past two seasons and a strong run game will make Ryan Finley’s job much easier. If Gallaspy is able play well, defenses will not be able to drop extra defenders back into coverage. This will open up passing lanes for Finley and these pass catchers.

The Georgia State Panthers’ defense gave up 181 rushing yards in their first game of the season. This could be a chance for Reggie Gallaspy Jr. to have a breakout game and build confidence heading into next week’s game against West Virginia.
