Stephen Louis

Entering this weekend’s game there is some question marks at the wide receiver position for the Wolfpack. The team’s top receiver last week, Jakobi Meyers, is dealing with an ankle injury that was suffered against James Madison. It would not be surprising to see the team err on the side of caution and keep him out.

However, the Wolfpack are expected to get senior Stephen Louis back this week, according to head coach Dave Doeren. Louis finished last year as the fourth wide receiver on this team in terms of receptions (37), receiving yards (531) and touchdowns (2). However, he was first in terms of yards per catch (15.8) for players with double digit receptions.

This game presents a great opportunity for him to knock off some of the rust from this summer and get back into a rhythm in this offense. He should get more than his fair share of targets, especially if Meyers is out.
