These are six bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers entering the 2018 season.

The NFL season is right around the corner and in less than one week the Carolina Panthers will be taking the field against the Dallas Cowboys at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers have had their fair share of change this offseason starting at the top with David Tepper officially being named owner of the Carolina Panthers.

On the sidelines, the Panthers will have a new offensive and defensive coordinator and fans will likely see the biggest change on the offensive side of the ball. The team brought in veteran play caller Norv Turner to take over for Mike Shula to run this Panthers’ offense. On the defensive side of the ball, there likely won’t be much change as the team hired from within as Eric Washington replaces Steve Wilks as defensive coordinator.

Meanwhile on the field, the team will have their core players like Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly and Greg Olsen leading the way. However, they added plenty of talent with the additions of wide receiver Torrey Smith, defensive tackle Dontari Poe and first round draft pick D.J. Moore.

The Panthers are coming off an 11-5 season, which was enough to earn them a Wild Card berth in last year’s playoffs. However, their time in the postseason was short lived as they fell to the New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card game.
