Week 16: vs. Atlanta Falcons (12/23)

The Panthers will be coming off a short week and will be facing a team they lost to earlier this season. However, at this point in the season Cam Newton should have a firm grasp on Norv Turner’s offense and playing in front of the home crowd should give Panthers’ fans an early Christmas present.

Prediction: Win (11-4)

Week 17: at New Orleans Saints (12/30)

The Carolina Panthers will end the 2018 season on the road facing the New Orleans Saints. This game could end up be for the NFC South, or even home field advantage through the NFC playoffs. However, the Panthers have not had much success in New Orleans, losing the last three trips there. It doesn’t look like this is the year it is broken and the Panthers will end the season with a loss.

Prediction: Loss (11-5)

Final Record: 11-5

Looking at the Carolina Panthers’ schedule for 2018, there is two clear areas that stand out. From Week 11-14 is a stretch that the Panthers should be able to build momentum heading into the final part of the season with games against Detroit, Seattle, Tampa Bay and Cleveland.

However, the final three games of the season will be their biggest challenge with two games against New Orleans and one against Atlanta. While the Panthers should be in contention for most of the season, these final three games could be the deciding factor.
