Week 10: at Pittsburgh Steelers (11/8)

For the first time this season, the Carolina Panthers will be playing under the bright lights of primetime. Unfortunately for them it is a short week as they travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers on Thursday Night Football. The Steelers are getting older however they still have one of the best offensive trios in Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. The fact this is a road game and a short week will likely mean a Panthers’ loss.

Prediction: Loss (5-4)

Week 11: at Detroit Lions (11/18)

The positive of playing on Thursday night is that the Panthers get a mini-bye week after that game with 10 days off before their next game. The next game will be against the Detroit Lions with first-time head coach Matt Patricia. They have one of the best quarterbacks in the league with Matthew Stafford but they have question marks on defense. This could be a game that the run game with McCaffrey dominates and the Panthers secure a road win.

Prediction: Win (6-4)
