Week 6: at Washington Redskins (10/14)

The Washington Redskins is another team that is tough to get a read on entering the 2018 season. It would not be surprising to see them end up winning their division but it would also not be surprising to see them end up with a Top 10 draft pick. They have a new QB (Alex Smith) and an aging running back (Adrian Peterson) on offense. Meanwhile on defense, they a number of question marks of their own aside from former Carolina Panther Josh Norman. This should be a win for the Panthers.

Prediction: Win (3-2)

Week 7: at Philadelphia Eagles (10/21)

For the second straight week, the Panthers are on the road facing an NFC East opponent. This time it is against the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are entering the season banged up however at this point they should have Carson Wentz and Alshon Jeffrey back. This will be a tough game for the Panthers and one they come up short.

Prediction: Loss (3-3)
