Week 1: vs. Dallas Cowboys (9/9)

The Carolina Panthers open the 2018 season at home against the Dallas Cowboys. There is no question that with the lack of talent at wide receiver, this offense will run through Ezekiel Elliott. This will need to be the focus for the Panthers and the team could catch a break as their offensive line, one of the best when healthy, could be missing key pieces for this game. That is enough to give the Panthers the win.

Prediction: Win (1-0)

Week 2: at Atlanta Falcons (9/16)

The Panthers get their first NFC South opponent of the season as they travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons in the second week of the season. This has the potential of being a shootout between Matt Ryan and Cam Newton. The game against the Cowboys will be a good indication how comfortable Newton is in this new offense. However, with it being a road game and the Falcons having a few extra days to prepare gives them the edge.

Prediction: Loss (1-1)
