Ryan Finley

At the end of the day, most fans will be there to watch Ryan Finley as he begins his final season with the Wolfpack. The team’s starting quarterback is considered one of the best in the ACC and will be expected to lead by example.

He finished last year with over 3,500 passing yards and 17 passing touchdowns, as well as three rushing touchdowns, and six interceptions. There is no question he is entering this year with high expectations as he believes this team is capable of reaching the ACC Championship Game.

It will be worth watching how Finley does managing the game, how he performs without playmakers like Hines and Jaylen Samuels and deals with an inexperienced right side of his offensive line.

If he is able to get the ball out of his hands quickly and to his wide receivers, he should have a big game for the NC State football team against the Dukes to start the 2018 season on a positive note.
