NC State Football: Game-by-Game Predictions for 2018 season
Game 10: vs. Wake Forest (11/8)
If you like high scoring games, this one will be for you. Both teams have an incredible playmakers and the Demon Deacons has the talent to rival what the Wolfpack has with Greg Dortch, Scotty Washington and Alex Bachman. However, the quarterback position is much more solidified for the Wolfpack than the Demon Deacon. This should be a win for the NC State football team.
Prediction: Win (6-4)
Game 11: at Louisville (11/17)
This game is the first of back to back road games to close out the 2018 season. The Wolfpack had a big win over the Cardinals last year, 39-25, when the Cardinals were ranked 17th. Ryan Finley should have this offense clicking and they will be able to win through the air and on the ground with Reggie Gallaspy Jr. This will be a tough game but the Wolfpack should pull out the win.
Prediction: Win (7-4)
Game 12: at North Carolina (11/24)
This is a rivalry game that the Wolfpack have dominated in recent years, winning eight of the last 11 matchups. This is a trend that should continue in 2018 even though UNC should have all their players back for this game after 13 players will serve suspensions throughout the year for the sale of school-issued shoes.
Prediction: Win (8-4)
Final Record: 8-4
The NC State football team should be one of the better teams in the ACC however they once again will not be able to get past Clemson and Florida State. The four game stretch in the middle of the season (vs. Boston College, at Clemson, at Syracuse, vs. Florida State) will likely determine exactly how this season plays out. If the Wolfpack are able to win at least two games here they should be in contention for the division lead right up to the end of the season.
