NC State Football: Game-by-Game Predictions for 2018 season

Game 7: at #2 Clemson (10/20)

The Wolfpack’s bye couldn’t come at a better time as they begin the toughest stretch of their schedule. It starts with a road game in Death Valley against Clemson. This is the game they need to win if they want to make the claim they should have a spot in the ACC Championship Game. If this was a home game, the Wolfpack would have a better chance at an upset but this Clemson team is too good.

Prediction: Loss (4-3)

Game 8: at Syracuse (10/27)

There is no doubt that this is a trap game for the NC State football team. They will be coming off a road game against Clemson with a home game against Florida State next week. However, the veteran leadership and this offense will keep this team on track as they secure a win in Syracuse.

Prediction: Win (5-3)

Game 9: vs. #19 Florida State (11/3)

If the Wolfpack want to have any hopes of reaching the ACC Championship Game, this would be a must-win after their loss against Clemson. The fact that this is a home game certainly is a boost for this team. However, this a very good Seminoles team and this is likely where the Wolfpacks’ dreams of a trip to the ACC Championship Game ends.

Prediction: Loss (5-4)
