Daniel Jones

These type of games typically are not blow outs and will be close for a majority of the game. It would not be surprising if the Blue Devils are in a position late in the fourth quarter where they need a drive to run out the clock or score to grab the win.

This is the time that Daniel Jones will need to step up and show he can be a leader of this team. The redshirt junior had a down year last season in comparison to his 2015 performance as he saw completion percentage, passing yards and passing touchdowns all drop.

In this game specifically last year, Jones accounted for both turnovers with a fumble on a botched snap and an interception. If Jones can limit those mistakes, and rise to the occasion if the game is close late, the Duke football team should be able to secure their first win of the season.
