Game 10: vs. North Carolina (11/10)

This is not a rivalry that is on the same level as the storied basketball rivalry, however this is a game both teams will be fired up for. However, the Tar Heels are in a bit of turmoil with a number of players serving suspensions this year. This is a game that the Blue Devils should be able to win and win easily.

Prediction: Win (6-4)

Game 11: at #2 Clemson (11/17)

The schedule did not do this Duke football team any favors with Miami and Clemson in a three week span, with both games on the road. While they do have a winning record right now, the Blue Devils sit only 2-4 in the ACC. They should enter this game hoping to play the role of spoiler but this Tigers team is too talented.

Prediction: Loss (6-5)

Game 12: vs. Wake Forest (11/24)

The Blue Devils close out the season at home against Wake Forest. This will be a battle of strengths as the Demon Deacons have an explosive offense and will be facing off against this Blue Devils’ defense. However, the offensive fire power will be too much and the Blue Devils close out the 2018 season with a loss.

Prediction: Loss (6-6)

Final Record: 6-6 (2-6 in the ACC)

Similarly to last year, this Blue Devils’ team should get off to a fast start winning their first four games. The game against Northwestern is a toss up at this point and it wouldn’t be surprising if they suffer their first loss there if Thorson returns.

However, the ACC schedule is brutal for this team and with three ranked opponents, two of those game on the road, it will be too much for them to overcome.
