Game 7: vs. Virginia (10/20)

At this point, the Blue Devils will have the same record that they did in 2017. However, they are able to stop the losing streak at two with a home game against Virginia. This team is expected to finish near the bottom of the ACC and should present a great opportunity for the Blue Devils to bounce back from two straight losses.

Prediction: Win (5-2)

Game 8: at Pittsburgh (10/27)

It is hard to get a read on this Pittsburgh team due to the fact that it seems they play to the level of their opponent. They finished last year 5-7 with losses to Syracuse and North Carolina but wins over Miami, ranked second at the time, and this Duke football team. This year the contest is on the road for the Blue Devils and the Panthers should have another strong performance against this team.

Prediction: Loss (5-3)

Game 9: at #8 Miami (11/3)

The last four games of the season will be tough for the Blue Devils and it starts with this road trip south to face the Miami Hurricanes. This is a team led by Mark Richt and was one of the best last season in college football, even though they stumbled at the end of the year. There is no reason to think they don’t remain at the top and unless the Hurricanes overlook the Blue Devils, this will likely result in a loss for this team.

Prediction: Loss (5-4)
