Game 4: vs. North Carolina Central (9/22)

There isn’t too much to say about this game as this is the one game that is almost a certainty the Blue Devils will win. This should be a boost of confidence for this team as they open the ACC schedule the following week. The 2018 season continues to mirror last year with another 4-0 start for the Duke football team.

Prediction: Win (4-0)

Game 5: vs. #20 Virginia Tech (9/29)

Aside from the game against Northwestern, this will be the first real test for the Duke Blue Devils. This will be their first ranked opponent of the season and a team they lost by a score of 24-3 last year. Unfortunately, the gap hasn’t been closed between these two teams and the Blue Devils suffer their first loss of the season.

Predictions: Loss (4-1)

Game 6: at Georgia Tech (10/13)

The Duke football team has a bye after the game against the Hokies and have a chance to regroup before facing the Yellow Jackets. This is a game that will be decided on the ground as Georgia Tech runs an option attack, something similar to Army. However, this team has a little more talent than the Black Knights and with this on the road, the Blue Devils suffer their second loss of the season.

Predictions: Loss (4-2)
