These are our game-by-game predictions for how the 2018 season will go for the Duke Football team.

Even though the 2017 season ended on a high note, with a three game win streak including a bowl win over Northern Illinois, it is one this Duke football team hopes to put behind them.

The Blue Devils started the year off great with four straight wins before losing the next six games in a row. The team led by head coach Dave Cutcliffe rebounded just in time to win the final two games of the year and earn a spot in the Quick Lane Bowl.

This year they will be looking for more consistency and hope that comes from experienced quarterback Daniel Jones. The redshirt junior decided to return after a season where his performance didn’t match what he did the year prior. He saw his completion percentage, passing yards, passing touchdowns all decrease and his interception total go up last season.

However, if the Blue Devils are going to be successful it will be the defense that will set the tone with players like linebacker Joe-Giles Harris and cornerback Mark Gilbert. These are two players that can lead by example for this defense.

These are our predictions for how the 2018 season will play out for the Duke Blue Devils.
