Game 10: at NC State (11/8)

This game the Wake Forest football team will be looking to even their record in the ACC, which currently would stand at 2-3. However, the Wolfpack have an explosive offense of their own led by Ryan Finley. The Demon Deacons’ defense struggles to slow them down and they once again fall back to .500.

Prediction: Loss (5-5)

Game 11: vs. Pitt (11/17)

This is the one game, in the second half of the 2018 season, that I am most confident the Demon Deacons will leave with a win. The Panthers are coming off a 5-7 record after two eight win seasons. This team entering 2018 looks more like that five win team than the eight win teams and this offense once again will be too much for the opposition.

Prediction: Win (6-5)

Game 12: at Duke (11/24)

The Demon Deacons will end the season the way they started: with a road win. The Blue Devils have a veteran quarterback in Daniel Jones and a talented running back in Brittain Brown on offense and two of the best at the position on defense, linebacker Joe Giles-Harris and cornerback Mark Gilbert. However, this is a game the Wake Forest football team should be able to win.

Prediction: Win (7-5)

Final Prediction: 7-5

The Demon Deacons for the second year in a row will finish with a 7-5 record. They will likely once again be competitive but not be close enough to the top to challenge for a spot in the ACC Championship Game.
