Game 7: at Florida State (10/20)

The bye week couldn’t come at a better time as the Demon Deacons will have time to regroup before they travel south to face Florida State. The Seminoles have some questions with new head coach Willie Taggert but are still very talented. At this point they should be hitting their stride and the Demon Deacons likely leave with a losing record for the first time this year.

Prediction: Loss (3-4)

Game 8: at Louisville (10/27)

The Demon Deacons will play their only back-to-back road games with trips to Florida State and then to Louisville. However, the Demon Deacons should feel good after a 42-32 win over the Cardinals last year. Even though this a road game, and the team is coming off their toughest stretch of the season, they should be able to put up enough points to secure the victory.

Prediction: Win (4-4)

Game 9: vs. Syracuse (11/3)

The Demon Deacons continue to bounce back after the dip in the middle part of the season and for the first time since the first two games, win back to back games. The Orange defense struggled last year, finishing last in the ACC in points allowed and this offense will be tough for them to stop. Kendall Hinton, Greg Dortch, and Matt Colburn should have big games and lead this team to a win.

Prediction: Win (5-4)
