Game 4: vs. Notre Dame (9/22)

This will be one of the first big decisions Dave Clawson will need to make on the season with Kendall Hinton returning from suspension. If Hartman is playing well, he could decide to keep the hot hand in even though they will be facing Notre Dame, who is currently ranked 12th in the country. This will be a tough game and the Demon Deacons likely fall to .500 after this game.

Prediction: Loss (2-2)

Game 5: vs. Rice (9/29)

After two tough games against Boston College and Notre Dame, the Demon Deacons should bounce back against Rice. The Owls already won their first game of the 2018 season however a defense that ranked 90th last year will struggle to stop this offense. The Wake Forest football team should leave this game with a win.

Prediction: Win (3-2)

Game 6: vs. Clemson (10/6)

The Demon Deacons will need all the momentum heading into the next two games with two ranked opponents. They start with the second ranked Clemson Tigers at BB&T Field and at this point in the season Kendall Hinton should be the team’s starting quarterback. They have the ability to score points but will the defense be able to slow down the Tigers offense? At this point, this will be a tall task and they move back to .500.

Prediction: Loss (3-3)
