Shaq Thompson (Stock Up)

Is this the year Shaq Thompson finally breaks out? If his play this preseason is any indication the answer would be yes.

He started the preseason off strong with an interception against the Bills and then against Patriots was flying all over the field. He finished with seven total tackles, including two tackles for losses.

The Panthers defense will definitely need this kind of production this year, especially the first four games of the year. This will be the time Thomas Davis will be suspended, which means an increase in playing time for Thompson.

If Thompson keeps this level of play up, alongside Luke Kuechly, will make it very tough on opposing defenses.
