Nathan Elliott will start every game this year

The UNC football team was forced to start three quarterbacks last year with Brandon Harris, Chazz Surratt and then finally Nathan Elliott. This year the competition for the starting job was expected to be between Surratt and Elliott however as previously mentioned, Surratt was suspended to start the year.

This is not to say Elliott didn’t have a chance to win the job because he did play well at the end of the year. In his three starts, Elliott threw eight touchdowns and only two interceptions. The Tar Heels won two of those games as well.

Now that Elliott is the starter right out of the gates, he should have a great chance to keep the starting job all season. Unless he falters, he should remain the starter the rest of the season.
