Antonio Williams will lead team in rushing yards

This may not be very bold but new running back Antonio Williams will lead this offense in rushing this season. Williams transferred from Ohio State this year and was granted a waiver to waive the year of ineligibility.

He will be joining a backfield that had Jordon Brown and Michael Carter returning, two backs who combined for over 1,500 yards from scrimmage and 13 total touchdowns.

The fact that the Tar Heels has this kind of talent at running back is a good problem to have but it also makes it difficult to make sure they are all getting the touches they should. However, the Tar Heels will be without one of these backs, Carter, who suffered a fractured wrist recently.

These extra touches should be enough for Williams to set the tone that he is the featured running back position and by the end of the season will likely lead the team in rushing yards.
