Brittain Brown breaks school rushing record

This is one prediction that we have already made earlier this summer and there is no reason to change the thought process. Sophomore Brittain Brown is coming off an impressive season last year with 701 rushing yards and seven touchdowns while splitting time with Shaun Wilson.

However, this year Brown is entering as the featured running back and should see the bulk of the carries. This fact should mean that Brown has his sights set on the school record for most rushing yards in a season. This record was set in 1972 by Steve Jones who ran for 1,236 rushing yards.

If Brown were to break this mark set by Jones, he would need to average 104 yards per game. However, with his ability to turn a routine run into 50+ yard sprint this number is certainly attainable.
