With the 2018 season right around the corner, it is time for us to make our predictions for the Duke Football team in the upcoming season.

The Duke football season is quickly approaching with the first game of the year against Army one week away. Head coach David Cutcliffe will be entering his tenth year leading the Blue Devils and the hope is they can build off a 7-6 record from a season ago.

There is no question that this team does have the talent to make some noise in the ACC, primarily on defense with linebacker Joe Giles-Harris and cornerback Mark Gilbert. These two players are two of the best in the country at their position and will set the tone for this defense this upcoming season.

On offense, the Blue Devils will be led by quarterback Daniel Jones, who is entering his third season as the team’s starter. He has a veteran receiving group, with all three starters back this year, and the explosive running back Brittain Brown. These playmakers should be enough to put points up and be competitive in almost every game this year.
