It doesn’t matter who starts on offensive line

The Carolina Panthers offensive line has been hit hard this preseason as they have lost three potential starters over the past few weeks. However, against the Patriots it was clear that it doesn’t seem to matter who is starting on this offensive line.

The key to the success of the offensive line has clearly been second-year player Taylor Moton. He started training camp competing for the starting left guard job, then moved back to right tackle when Daryl Williams went down with his injury.

This week he was moved to left tackle and replaced the injured Matt Kalil. He played very well at this position and while it is a small sample size, he may end up being the team’s full-time starter once this line is back to full strength.
