The Carolina Panthers remained undefeated this preseason with a 25-14 win over the New England Patriots. These are the top takeaways from the final preseason game at Bank of America Stadium.

While it is only preseason, the Carolina Panthers had an excellent performance against the New England Patriots. This third preseason game is typically used as a dress rehearsal for the regular season and the play by this team, specifically the defense, should have fans excited.

Both teams had their first-teams out for most of the first half and in that time, the Panthers held Tom Brady and this Patriots’ offense to only three points. However, the offense struggled to finish drives off with touchdowns and had three drives reach the red zone but end with field goals.

The second half though is when both teams started to find the end zone as the Panthers had two, thanks to Taylor Heinicke scramble and a Moses Frazier touchdown reception. Meanwhile for the Patriots, it wasn’t until late in the fourth quarter when they found the end zone with a Mike Gillislee touchdown run.

However, the Patriots really weren’t able to make it much of a game and the Panthers were able to secure the double digit victory.

These are the top takeaways for the Panthers in the third preseason game of the year.
