These are the key Carolina Panthers to watch in the third preseason game against the New England Patriots.

The third preseason game is the “dress rehearsal” for NFL teams and the same should apply for the Carolina Panthers. This is the game that the starters see the most extended playing time of the preseason and will typically play into the second half.

The Panthers’ defense will be tested facing off against a Patriots’ offense led by Tom Brady, one of the best quarterbacks in the league. However, the focus in this game will be on the offense. This a new offense for the Panthers with coordinator Norv Turner entering his first season with the team.

While the starters will see a majority of the action, there will also be time for the backups to play. Now that we are entering the second half of the preseason, the pressure is on some of these players to perform and prove they deserve a spot on this 53-man roster.

These are the top players fans should watch on the Carolina Panthers in their final home preseason game against the New England Patriots.
